Every person has a unique experience with Kundalini energy. Some feel subtle tingles, others are swept into spontaneous movements, and some drop into deep stillness and bliss. The diversity of experiences is what makes this work so mysterious but it’s also what makes it sacred.
We all carry the same life force energy. Some bodies are already highly sensitive and open to it, while others require time to soften, trust, and prepare. Neither is better or worse it’s simply the path your soul chose.

How Kundalini Activation Works
Kundalini Activation isn’t something the facilitator “does” to you. Your body is the true healer.
Here’s what happens in a typical session:
- Energetic Transmission: The facilitator holds a specific frequency in their auric field and, through intention and presence, mirrors this energy to your body.
- Nervous System Reset: When your body feels safe enough to surrender, the parasympathetic state (“rest and digest”) opens. This allows spontaneous release of stored stress, trauma, or tension.
- Energy Channels Awaken: Your chakras and nadis (subtle energy pathways) begin to strengthen and clear. Many people describe this as activating their body’s self-healing intelligence.
What unfolds is completely unique. Some people experience visions, intuitive insights, or past-life memories. Others feel their body move involuntarily, releasing old trauma through shaking, crying, or laughter. Many leave feeling light, clear, and deeply at peace.
Kundalini Activation vs. Kundalini Awakening
You may have heard of Kundalini Awakening in yogic traditions the serpent energy rising after years of disciplined practice.
Does Kundalini Activation create a full awakening? Sometimes yes, sometimes no.
For me, my first sessions didn’t trigger a full awakening because I was still at the beginning of my healing journey. For others, the process may be intense and cause a lot of clearing all at once. And for some, it may be slower and more subtle.
This isn’t about chasing outcomes. Kundalini Activation is about surrendering to what your soul and body are ready to receive.
What to Expect in a Kundalini Activation Session
Sessions follow a simple structure, but your body’s response will always be unique each time.
- You’ll lay down on a yoga mat in corpse pose, eyes closed, with a curated playlist.
- The facilitator moves around you, transmitting the frequency without touch.
- Your body may release somatically (shaking, twitching, crying, or spontaneous movements).
- You may see colors, animals, visions, or receive intuitive downloads.
- You may feel bliss, wholeness, or profound stillness unlike anything before.
In my first session, I remember feeling a familiar energy that was both powerful and gentle. My background as a dancer and my years of practicing Tantra gave me some embodied awareness already but this felt different. I left the session feeling light, clear, and uplifted in a way I had never experienced before.
Integration Is Key
The real magic of Kundalini Activation often comes after the session.
You may find yourself:
- Releasing old patterns, beliefs, or addictions.
- Feeling more alive and at home in your body.
- Experiencing heightened intuition or clarity of purpose.
- Moving through purification symptoms (fluids, fatigue, sensitivity) as your system recalibrates.
Integration is essential. I recommend spending time in nature, drinking plenty of water, journaling, and allowing quiet time for reflection afterward.
