For many years my work centered around the body, mind and soul. But after a decade of working intimately with the human body, I began to understand that something essential was often being left out of the conversation: the heart and Eros. Not simply sexuality but our capacity to feel, desire, connect, receive, create, and experience ourselves as fully alive.
To me, healing is not only about regulating the nervous system or releasing what hurts. It is also about becoming more available for life. This is part of why Tantra has become such an important influence in my work.
Tantra invites us to slow down.
To feel more deeply.
To inhabit the body more fully.
To cultivate intimacy with ourselves, with others, and with life itself.
In a culture that constantly pulls our attention outward, these practices bring us back to what is here.
